Yup, my wife and I are Filipino. Spring is in full swing here and we’ve been taking every chance we can get to hike or just explore. Also got lucky and bought a Sigma 400mm for basically 100 Yen and started doing bird photography.

I have a really similar story to yours. In fact my wife and I used to live in Cebu City and after the earthquake and typhoon we moved to Japan for the stable infrastructure. Still figuring out a way to bring our parents over though.
