The image quality of Nikon’s Z-mount DX line is so much better then the Nikon F mount DX line. I still have my Nikon D300 and i owned the D500 but the IQ of the ZFC is much better (the D500 excels with its AF capability) . Especially in low light situation. I made a series of photo’s in a pretty dark venue (birthday part in a bar) with the ZFC with 28mm 2.8 SE lens and the photo’s are brilliant. My speedlights are collecting dust in my drawer these days.

The Nikon ZFC is now my EDC (Every Day Camera) which is in my bag when i travel to work. In fact i use it more then my Nikon Z6 III because its so compact and light..
